The bowl is not just a brainless person and put in the dishwasher. Experts share 6 tips for positioning

During the party season, the dishwasher in the kitchen can be said to be the most useful household appliance in the home. From snack bowls to side dishes, dessert cups and plenty of glasses, if you keep receiving friends over the next few weeks, you may even have to wash the bowls a few times a night.

To ensure that all tableware and glassware can be cleaned as much as possible, the key is to correctly stack the dishes; Andrew Laughlin, a dishwasher expert in the British consumer rights group, shared his secret on TikTok. His suggestion is simple, that is, "make sure that there is a space between everything"; place large tableware behind, not in the middle; put the plate forward; make sure that nothing holds the spray arm.

1. No need to pour the dishwashing plate beforehand

"Just pour out the leftovers and put the dish in the dishwasher," said Kerlin. "It will pre-wash first during the cleaning cycle, so manually rinsing in advance is just a waste of water."

2. Make sure that the water circulates the rings

Since the spray arm is located under the bottom frame, Kerlin recommends that the dirty side face inside and the bowl and flat bottom bench face down.

"I will make sure there is space between each object so that the water can circulate; alternating the large and small objects will also help," he added.

3. Put the dimest on the bottom rack

Lynn explains: "Always place the dimest things like baking pans on a lower rack, because there are the highest water pressure and temperatures there."

However, if you have very dirty and not too dirty items to wash, thenLynn recommends that you use a reinforced circulation to individually clean the dim items, which can increase the water temperature to 70 degrees Celsius, and at the same time increase the water pressure.

4. The top layer is placed on the top layer

Because the temperature of the top layer is relatively low, it is recommended to place items such as glass cups, mugs and fresh boxes. This is less likely to cause the fresh boxes to deform due to high temperature.

In ideal situations, the cup should be placed in the middle and the glass should be placed on both sides because both sides are the places with the greatest spray pressure. If there are larger glasses or long-handled cups, Clint recommends adjusting the top to the lowest position.

5. No more than super

Although it is recommended to wash the dishwasher after being packed, super-loading is a "big taboo".

Laklin suggested running half-loading or soaking options first; he said that if you can't pack the dishwasher at once, but don't want to turn it on, the soaking options can ensure that the dirty bowl will not smell bad.

6. Clearly placed knives

Daily knives for charcoal can be placed face down into tableware, so that you won’t cut yourself when you take things out of the dishwasher; however, even so, Kerlin recommends hand-washing meat cutters and other charcoal knives, because the machine can easily change the blade.
