The Sun reported that Manchester United's renovated training base is equipped with a smart urinal, which allows players to immediately know whether they are short of water and need to be replenished when they get rid of their hands.
Sir Ratcliffe had previously approved a £50 million training base upgrade plan and fully adopted the player's opinions in the design. The current plan includes building a plate tennis court for the team and equiping a sleeping cabin to ensure that the players are fully rested. The second floor player leisure area has a hairdressing room, and the next door is equipped with an F1 simulator.
Sir Ratcliff knew that facilities alone could not create a championship, but firmly believed that this was a key element of the club's return to the top. He said: "We are very satisfied with the results and believe that the new facilities will play an important role in shaping the club's winner culture. Manchester United is a world-class brand that is as famous as Coca-Cola and Apple, and must match its size and history. Although we cannot achieve our goals by relying solely on world-class training bases, it is a core element of modern clubs, and now we have it."
