Times: Galatasaray intends to loan Southampton goalkeeper Ramsdale this summer

According to the British media Times, Galatasaray is interested in loaning Southampton goalkeeper Ramsday this summer.

Ramsdale will be allowed to leave the team this summer, with a contract containing a termination clause of about £20 million, which has been activated after Southampton was relegated from the Premier League in May.

Southampton needs to sell multiple players, and Ramsdale hopes to return to the top league club to compete for the World Cup squad for England next year.

If Areola leaves the team, West Ham intends to sign Ramsdale as a replacement, and the Hammers are also considering introducing Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.

Galatasaray is looking for a goalkeeper because the 39-year-old Muslera left the team after 14 seasons. Thanks to more preferential tax policies, Galatasaray can offer higher salaries to attract players.

Galatasaray has finalized Sane, whose contract with Bayern will expire next week. Last season, they also introduced Osmeen from Naples on loan.

Ramsdale, who earns about £100,000 per week, has three years left on his contract with Southampton. He joined Southampton from Arsenal last summer for a transfer fee of £18 million. However, Ramsdale's first season in Southampton ended with his third Premier League relegation, after both of his previous relegation at Sheffield United and Bournemouth.

Ramsdale's last appearance for England was against Iceland in June last year. When Tuchel first released the roster in March this year, Ramsdale was one of four goalkeepers selected, but was waived this month against Andorra and Senegal, and Pickford, Trafford and Dean Henderson were drafted.
