Fulham officially announced that it would renew its contract with striker Munis until 2030, and the club has the option to renew its contract for one year.
Munis, 24 years old, joined Fulham in 2021 and made great progress. So far, he has scored 27 goals in 104 games for Fulham. What is particularly impressive is that less than half of the games he played were starting.
In his debut season with Fulham, Munis competed with Mitrovic, who scored 43 goals, but he was still able to score one goal every 98 minutes, which was comparable to Mitrovic. After spending a season on loan at Middlesbrough, he proved himself a top striker in the 2023-24 season. After scoring eight goals in eight consecutive games, he was named Premier League Player of the Month, becoming the third player in Fulham history to win this honor and the first Fulham player to win the award after Schwarzer in 2010. Munis has 10 goals in total throughout the season.
Last season, Munis scored 11 goals in 36 games, but most of his goals were scored against teams leading the standings, including Manchester City, Liverpool (2 goals), Chelsea, Newcastle and Arsenal.
