Manchester United defender Luke Xiao talked about his injury issues in an interview recently. He missed 48 of Manchester United's 60 games due to injury last season.

Luke Shaw said: "To be honest, this is something I've never experienced. I know I've had a lot of injuries, but this time it's more psychological pain. It's really hard, I don't want to talk too much about it, I think last season was an experience that should be forgotten. That time was a very bad time, and I started with a calf injury, which I've never had before, so I was very uncomfortable. Then all kinds of problems followed, which made me feel very anxious.

"But now I'm grateful to be able to get back to health, and I feel in good condition. I'm also very happy now, with great teammates and coaches around me. I don't want to mention last season again, when my mood fell to the bottom. I can't feel better now, I'm looking forward to the upcoming season and I have a lot of ambitions to achieve.

"I felt sorry for Tenhah because of injuries and other issues. In the final stage, I didn't work for him, which made me feel bad. Then the new coach came to the team and we discussed the goals for the rest of the season, but then I got injured.

"For most of last season, I felt like I disappointed a lot of people in the club and the team because I was always injured. This is a big psychological burden for me, and I often blame myself. I have been unable to play for the team for a long time, and I feel like I have become a drag. But the team and the coach are very nice to me, especially the coach, who has always supported me.

"After last season, it may be a bit ridiculous to say this, but we want to win the Premier League. We should have such ambitions because this is Manchester United, we need to have such ambitions, otherwise it would make no sense here. In my opinion, Manchester United is the largest club in the world and it needs to have the greatest ambitions."
