On Wednesday, Chelsea men's and women's football players, staff and fans gathered at Stamford Bridge Stadium to celebrate the past successful season at the "Glory Travel" event. The celebration party began first, with all players and coaching staff walking through the lawn of Stamford Bridge Stadium one by one to greet the audience.
Chelsea women's football team debuted, with representatives such as Erin Cathbert, Hamano Maika, Katarina Macario, Becky Spencer, captain Millie Bright and coach Sonia Bonpasto. They won the triple-winning championship in the 2024/25 season, including the Women's Premier League, Women's FA Cup and League Cup.
The Club World Cup trophy won in the United States this summer was left to the final appearance, and was won by men's football captain Reese James and coach Maresca, and the trophy became the focus of the stage.
James said in his speech to the fans: "This season, we have taken a big step in the right direction. This means a lot to me personally. I have experienced difficult times for the team and I have experienced struggles, so winning these trophies after a difficult season is of great significance."
"I just want to thank everyone for their support throughout the last season, and in the upcoming new season, we still need you. We hope to bring some trophies back to you soon."
Women's football captain Bright said: "I will review the (personal) data after retirement, but for me, it's all about the team, the partners I work with every day, and the club I belong to. There is still work to do, and the Champions League trophy is coming. We have more potential to tap, so you should be excited."
European Union trophy was also brought into the court by Enzo, while new players Drapp, Estewan, Essugo, Gittens, Joao Pedro and Harto were introduced to fans at Stamford Bridge Stadium for the first time.
The Chelsea players then addressed the supporters present, reviewing the successful seasons that the men's and women's football teams have achieved together.
Then, Reese James and the Club World Cup trophy met with other men's football players on the stage, and then the women's football players joined in to thank the fans together.
Finally, Reese James and his teammates escorted the Club World Cup trophy to its trophy display cabinet at the Chelsea Museum in Stamford Bridge Stadium. Fans in the western stands watched the scene through the big screen and cheered enthusiastically.
Blue legends Kudicini and Chapman looked back on this excellent season and looked forward to the new season.
Maresca said: "We are very excited. We have 2 to 3 weeks of rest and try to recharge the new season. At the same time, we have some new players joining, so we are looking forward to the new season. I think we showed our strength last season, but in the world of football, it is never enough, you have to always work hard to do more and keep improving."
women's football coach Bonpasto told the fans: "It's great to be with you today. The achievements of last season were incredible. The competition here is very fierce. Although I know Chelsea won many trophies before I came, I am extremely proud of the players to achieve these achievements with this team in my first season. Next year, we will hit the four trophies!"
