The best time for immunization for puppies:

30 days of birth - 7-8 weeks of nasal drop immunization for kennel cough vaccine - the first six-unit vaccine injection

Why do puppies have diarrhea? What to do if dogs have diarrhea?

11-12 weeks of birth - the second six-unit vaccine injection

14-15 weeks of birth - the third six-unit vaccine, rabies vaccine

Notes:

1. After this immunization plan, what to do in the future is to inject one six-unit vaccine and one rabies vaccine every year, so that the dog can say goodbye to those infectious diseases that are threatening.

2. It is absolutely forbidden to inject vaccinated pregnant female dogs, otherwise it may cause miscarriage of female dogs. When animals are pregnant, they have high antibodies in their bodies, generally do not suffer from infectious diseases and do not require vaccination. Similarly, it is not suitable to give female dogs a vaccine within half a month after giving birth.

3. For dogs with poor physical fitness and poor nutrition, it is best to improve their physical fitness first and strengthen their nutrition until they are healthy before getting vaccinated.

4. Dogs cannot be vaccinated when they are ill. Vaccination at this time may aggravate the condition due to the vaccine response, and may also prevent the vaccine from producing a good immune effect.

5. It is normal for a few puppies to experience increased body temperature, depression, decreased appetite, pain after being vaccinated. Generally, the symptoms will disappear within 24 hours.

6. If you experience itching throughout the body and swelling on the face, you will be allergic and you need to go to the hospital for desensitization injection.

7. Some puppies may have severe reactions such as shock after being vaccinated. Therefore, it is best to stay in a veterinary station or pet hospital for 30 minutes after being vaccinated, and then leave after confirming that the puppies have no abnormal reactions.

8. Within one week after vaccination, antibodies are being produced in the dog's body, and its resistance may decrease. Do not bathe the dog to avoid catching a cold during this period.

9. The temperature in spring and autumn is appropriate, which helps the vaccine work, so it is best to choose to inject it in spring and autumn.
