We know that puppies who have just been weaned are best to soak soft dog food, but what should we pay attention to in this process? Generally speaking, the following three points should be paid attention to:
1. Water temperature: about 40-60 degrees of warm water, but the water must be boiled in advance and then cooled down the warm water (prevent boiling water from causing the loss of nutrients in dog food, and hot water can easily burn the dog);
2. Water volume: The dog food can absorb just the right absorption, so that the dog food after soaking can absorb all the water, and that's enough. In this way, there is no need to pour out excess water and lose some nutrients;
3. Time: Soak until the dog food is released (soaked softly); the solubility of each type of dog food is different, so the soaking time will vary. Usually warm water is around 60 degrees, and it can be done in 20 minutes. The water temperature is about 30 degrees, just to try feeding.
